POKER AFTER DARK
Introduction:
Numerous television programs have emerged, thanks to the popularity of the game of poker which is growing at an astounding rate. One amongst them is “Poker after Dark”. It is a late night program, which is broadcast in the NBC channel. It had made its debut in the month of January this year in the NBC “All Night”. Mostly, the show was aired for six nights per week. The hosts of the show are Oliver Ali Nejad and Shana Hiatt. Numerous top poker professionals have participated in the made-for-television No Limit Texas hold’em tournament. The show is broadcast on a weekly basis and each of the six players play for $ 1,20,000 jackpot. Each of the players pays $ 20,000 for the buy-in. Winners are mostly determined at the end of the show on Fridays. The Saturday show is considered to be “director’s cut”, which is inclusive of the action from the excerpts of the previous days.
